Set up email forwarding for Gmail

Your Olim Landed address looks like u123@in.olimlanded.com. You find it at the top of your Tickets screen. Everything sent there becomes a ticket.

Set it up once. After that, letters from the government, NBN, your bank and your kupah land in the app by themselves.

Who to forward

Steps

Gmail asks you to confirm the forwarding address once.

  1. Open Gmail. Click the gear, then "See all settings".
  2. Open the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab. Click "Add a forwarding address".
  3. Paste your Olim Landed address. Click Next, then Proceed.
  4. Gmail sends a confirmation code to that address. Open the Olim Landed app. The code shows up as a ticket called "Gmail confirmation". Copy the code.
  5. Back in Gmail, paste the code in the box and click Verify.

  1. Now create the filter. In the search bar at the top, click the filter icon on the right.
  2. In "From", paste the senders, separated by OR. Example:

    @nbn.org.il OR @gov.il OR @btl.gov.il OR @clalit.co.il

  3. Click "Create filter". Tick "Forward it to" and choose your Olim Landed address. Also tick "Never send it to Spam".
  4. Click "Create filter" again. Done.

Test: ask a friend to email you from one of those domains, or forward an old letter by hand. It should appear as a ticket within a minute.

Gmail on the phone: filters cannot be created in the app. Use a computer once, or forward by hand with the share button.

Forward by hand

Any email, any app: open it, tap Forward, send to your Olim Landed address. Photos of paper letters: share the photo to the app, or email it as an attachment.

Privacy

Only emails that match your rule are sent. You can delete a ticket and its email at any time. Olim Landed never logs in to your mailbox.
